Best hotel/ parking place in jacksonville

I am taking a 5 day cruise in September out of a Jacksonville port on the fascination. I'm looking for the best hotel to stay in at Jacksonville somewhere near the port preferably.

 

Also would you recommend me parking at the port or parking with the hotel before the cruise? I've never been to Jacksonville so I need as much advice and help as I can get
