HAL Ryndam - sail past Pulpit Rock?

We are currently deciding whether to do a tour of Lysefjord and Pulpit Rock.

However, I have read on some old threads that the smaller HAL ships (like ours - Ryndam) sail past Pulpit Rock anyway.

I've emailed HAL to ask, but I wondered if there is anyone who's been on a recent HAL Norway trip (ours is specifically a Midnight Sun cruise) who could tell me whether their ship sailed past Pulpit Rock. If so, is it still worth doing the smaller tour anyway (or is it just exactly the same scenery)?
