I did this cruise in May of this year. I liked it so much that I immediately booked for 2009. Two weeks on the Serenade is a perfect combination to an Alaskan cruise! David

How was the weather in May ?

It was cool to cold but perfect, as far as very little rain. The sailing after ours encountered bad weather. You never know that time of year. Hopefully we will be as lucky this year. I brought layers of clothing and it worked out well. Serenade is such a pleasing ship for inclimate weather.

Coming from Scotland we will just bring our normal layers, April/May we can do the four seasons in day :)

Wish i was going however i just got back from doing 2 cruises a 7 and a 14 day Med and a TA.

 

Look after my Train Driver friend Glen from Brisbane.He may need some guiding on the ship being a First Cruiser.

Glen is doing the Boeing factory tour with us.

On my last RCCL on the Voyager which ive sailed on twice in the last year the Cruise Directors refused to put the FOD Meetings on the Daily Compass.Thats a big departure from Celebrity.

The policy with Royal seems to be putting it on the community board.

hehe.you might need a rope to pull him out but you will enjoy it and he will love the tease.
