Glorybe Posted March 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2015 We have from 2-5pm on an early June afternoon to do some sightseeing in Alexandria on our own. The ship leaves at 8pm, but we like to get back for early dinner. I thought the Royal Jewelry Museum might be a possibility. If you have gone, is this sight worth the trip OYO by taxi from the cruise ship port to the museum in terms of seeing an Arabic palace and royal jewels? How much would the taxi fare be? How long was the ride in the traffic? Where did you catch a taxi back to the ship from the museum? Were there any difficulties with the taxi or can you offer any tips in using the taxis? Were there any concerns about personal safety? Thanks for your comments.
