Hong Kong Departure Question

Has anyone been on a cruise that leaves out of Hong Kong before? Once we get on the ship can we get back off and see some of the city since we do not leave until late (10pm)? I know we will have to be there for the muster (assuming it is later in day/evening).

 

I know in some cities once you clear customs and get on the ship they do not allow you get back off for sightseeing. Just trying to plan my day . . .
