some advice please

Hi all:

My wife and I are new cruisers to Regent. We are travelling on the July 22 Baltic sailing of the Navigator. I have checked the web site for evening dress code and it states 5 evenings are "country club casual" and two are "informal". I have it in the back of my mind that I read somewhere that all 7 night sailings have at least one formal evening. As we are visiting several European destinations prior the cruise and I don't want to haul around a tuxedo that I won't wear, I would very much appreciate a confirmation from someone who has done it that there are indeed no formal evenings.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Mike

There are many itineraries, especially in the summer, where there are no formal nights. The dress codes can be very cruise specific. So, if the website says no formal nights, it is probably correct. You could check with your travel agent. Also, if you have a jacket and tie, but no tuxedo I am sure it will not be an afront to anyone...in a worst case scenario.
