How do we get to Stone Island from ship?

Does anyone know the easiest way to get to Stone Island from where the ship docks in Mazatlan? Thanks so much!

If you want to walk from the cruise terminal, go out to the street and go left about four blocks. The paved road will turn away from the channel but you will continue straight ahead about another block on a dirt road to a building at the end that is the ticket booth and water taxi terminal.
