My only opinion on the roomies it seems like there is a lot more room when you separate the bottom beds to have two twins on twins rather than the king with two bunks above. I k ow you husband and u probably want to share a bed but we always find this gives us a lot more room to move around and it doesn't feel as cramped have fun
