Internet on Imagination Question

Hi! Quick question:

I may need to access a work server from the ship using either telnet or SSH.

Does anyone know if this is possible? I have read that "VPNs" are blocked -- but are simple internet protocols like SSH / telnet also blocked?

Thanks

I do not know anything specific about cruise ships, but I am an IT manager and I know how "blocking" works. They don't actually block individual services, they set up a firewall that blocks EVERTHING and then allows only certain services through.

You will not be able to ssh. Unlikely to be able to telnet. If your job is dependent on something besides http - stay home until you've made a scouting trip.
