Sports Courts on Carnival Breeze Deck 12 -- wheelchair accessible?

The deck plan I saw is a bit ambiguous. It indicates accessible walkways around the sports areas on Deck 12, but not whether the areas themselves are accessible or reachable by wheelchair from the Deck 12 elevator. I know the Glory's sports area is completely inaccessible; I was hoping I'd have better luck with the newer Breeze.

We went on the Carnival Breeze last March. Deck 12 is handicap accessible via a lift over stairs but it was broken for the whole cruise so 4 crew members lifted the wheelchair up the stairs so my son could use the Sports Court. We only did it once because I felt uncomfortable asking for help. Hopefully it is fixed but maybe you should call Carnival and ask. We are going on the Vista in April which does have elevator access to the sports deck. Hopefully this helps.
