Booze on a cruise

I am taking a cruise with Royal Caribbean @ the end of the month .I looked @ drink prices and almost fell over ,$12 a mixed + tip !! .The drink packages are outrageously priced also..

This may force people to sneak booze on board .If you attempt to get the drink on board and they catch you is there any penalty ..

Is Royal the only line with these ridicules prices .?

The last cruise on Holland had a daily happy hour which was 2 for 1 .Do you know if Royal have such a deal .

There is a board on here for Royal Caribbean, and I am sure someone on there will be able to tell you.
