Huatulco

I've read from the past posts that you can get a taxi, and for $20 (1/2 day) you can get a tour of the city. Has anyone taken a taxi tour in Huatulco recently? Where did you go, did you feel safe, etc? Thanks for any info.

Went to Huatulco 4 years ago and we had a fabulous taxi driver! We paid $40 for 4 of us and he did take us on a beautiful tour - we saw so much, especially the bays of Huatulco! The taxi driver was young and personable and we felt very safe and comfortable with him. I had wanted homemade tortillas and Steven, our driver, took us to his home so he could give me some! They were delicious! I love Huatulco and look forward to returning again! I hope RCCL decides to put this destination back into their itinerary!
