Best hotel to stay in Seattle before a cruise?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if anyone has a suggestion, based on experience, as to best pre-cruise hotel accommodations in Seattle? We cruised once in 2005 and made the mistake of flying in the day of our cruise and nearly missed it due to airport delays in Boston to Ft. Lauderdale.

Hi there,

A colleague of mine stayed at the Inn at Harbor Steps, though I don't know offhand how close it is to the cruise port (http://www.innatharborsteps.com). The rooms are like apartments! You can also find hotel suggestions in our port profile (http://www.cruisecritic.com/ports/newport.cfm?ID=52) and mini-break (http://www.cruisecritic.com/ports/homeport.cfm?ID=13).

I agree with Carolyn and all of the posters here -- it is a really good idea to fly in a day or two before. I've had a few close calls myself :)
