Private excursions to Autosafari Chapin?

Hi, has anyone arranged or traveled on a private tour to the Autosafari Chapin from Puerto Quetzal, either made ahead of time or via arrangements made right on the dock?

Our cruise line (Oceania) is offering the trip as a shore excursion, but I really don't want to sit on a big bus trying to spot the animals.

I don't know anything about that particular tour, but unless this place is very close to the port, in Guatemala I would stick with the tours from the ship. Transportation and road conditions are "iffy" at best and you may not make it back to the ship on time.
