digitalabyrinth Posted April 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 8, 2004 I wonder if anyone could tell me what the dimensions (roughly) of the in room safes are. Also does anyone know if the ship is set up with safe deposit boxes for bigger items. Reason is I am taking my camera and lenses and want to feel safe when I am snorkling. jammin Posted April 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 8, 2004 if memory serves me the in room safes are mabye 10" wide and 7 or 8" high and 7-8" deep. Maybe someone else can confirm this. I bet customer service can answer that question for you. I also believe the pursers desk can hold vaulable items
superjerryw Posted April 8, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 8, 2004 Unless you have a 500mm f2.8 lens you should not have a problem putting your camera and lens in the safe. Just be sure to bring a cap for the body and the mounted end of the lens in case you have to separate them to fit them in the safe. <applet code="countdown.class" CODEBASE="http://*************/java-sys" width="203" height="25"> <param name="font" value="lcdb0"> <param name="year" value=2004> <param name="month" value=03> <param name="day" value=19> <param name="hour" value=17> </applet> Donuts, is there anything they can't do.... digitalabyrinth Posted April 8, 2004 Author #6 Share Posted April 8, 2004 Awesome, nothing is worse than worrying about your cameras while trying to have a good time. It is also a hassle to check them with the pursor. I am excited to be going to the Caribbean for the first time and on Royal C for the first time.
