Gold Rock Beach

Will be in Freeport on June 2. We are looking at going to Gold Rock Beach. Can anyone tell me how much/cost of the taxi to there are is it difficult to get a taxi back to port? What is the entrance fee? If the water rocky? Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Water and beach are lovely - not rocky at all. Soft white sand, clear aqua waters, not crowded. Beautiful beach but no amenities, just a beach.

I took a tour. Not sure what a taxi would cost. I'm guessing it's about a 30-min ride or maybe 40? It's a pretty secluded area and I did not see any other taxis there to catch a ride back. You can probably arrange round trip. Freeport is a big island with a smaller population, so getting around is not as easy as Nassau. I took a tour to get there, but I saw a Jeep group lining up too. Maybe rent a car or Jeep?
