Scuba Diving & Drach Caves in Palma da Mallorca with Teens & Young Adults

July 11th, we are going to be arriving in Palma aboard Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas with 5 young adults (18 to 21) and a 16-yr-old.

If possible, we'd love to do some scuba diving (and snorkeling) while also getting to visit Drach Caves?

What vendors have you used and would recommend for scuba diving (and snorkeling) from a boat on Palma?

Is it possible to visit Drach Caves while also getting to scuba dive and snorkel? Who did you utilize for getting you to Drach Caves?

Thanks.

We've been to Drach Caves. It's just over an hour by bus to get there. Porto Christo is the name of the town and it's on the other side of the island from Palma. We took the ship tour and it was well worth it because there was a long line to enter the caves and we were able to bypass it entirely. We liked the caves. Spectacular inside! http://www.cuevasdeldrach.com/?lang=en

After the caves the tour bus stops at the Mallorca pearl factory. I liked this too but mostly because I walked out with some new pearl earrings. :D It's interesting to go upstairs and see the manufacturing process but for the most part it's a just a jewelry salesroom. The stop is under a half hour though.

I don't think it's possible to do the two things you want. The excursion, given the length of time it takes to get there and then tour the caves, eats up the better part of a day. If you leave the ship around 8:30 - 9:00 am you won't get back to the ship until 1:30 - 2:00 pm. The Harmony probably leaves around 4 pm, correct? All you'll have time for is a bit of an exploration of the city if you take a cab there after the excursion. You could walk (it's actually a very pretty walk) but you're short of time so it's not doable.

You'll have to choose how you want to spend your day, either one or the other. Palma is just gorgeous so you're in for a good day either way. Maybe someone else could help you with the scuba or snorkeling as all we've ever done in Mallorca is tour the city (so much to see and do there) and Drach Caves.
