Bus/Ferry Student discounts

Hello, I've read that kids 5 - 16 get the bus and ferry passes at half the price. Does anyone know if the kids need to show student ID or proof of age?

I am pretty sure for both students and seniors you need an on island ID...

It looks like the student passes are a different thing that applies to residents only. The prices indicate full fare for adults and 1/2 price kids age 5 - to under 16.

That is correct. Student passes are for Bermuda residents only. The children (5-16 yo) of visitors pay ½ the adult fare for Transportation Passes. I believe that the purchase of any fare for children is on the 'honor system'.
