Resort for a day...St. Maarten Sonesta Great Bay?

Has anyone booked a Resort for a Day...at St. Maarten Sonesta Great Bay? The rate is $80 for the day and includes food, drinks, pool, and beach at this resort. There is also a Casino that you can use. I'm curious if anyone has done this? We were concerned that we would get there and chairs wouldn't be available at the beach due to the resort guests. The company Resort for the Day told me that they only book so many guests for the day to make sure there are enough chairs. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

That's a good question. I just booked at the Westin Dawn Beach at St. Maarten and had similar questions, but since it's getting close to our cruise date I wanted to be sure to snag a spot for my family before they were all sold out. The Westin provide you with a room as well during your day which is what really pulled me towards them instead of the Sonesta. I wanted the Sonesta because it appears to be within walking distance of the port, but the Westin looks a little better (on the pictures anyway) so I'm hoping for the best now that I have pulled the trigger.

Interested in this as well. Leaning towards Westin since you get a room.

Does the Westin include drinks and food?
