recharging portable concentrator batteries

Recommended Posts

This is my first time on a cruise using oxygen 24/7. I have a battery operated portable oxygen concentrator with 3 batteries. I plan to take mostly ship tours but in Dublin, I wanted to do on our own. My concern is what if I need to recharge a battery while out in Dublin, where do I find an outlet? I have the proper converter and adapter for Ireland.

Any suggestions?

Your concentrator doesn't use all three batteries at once, does it? Mine takes two, and I know how long they are good for. Do you know how long yours are good for? Whatever the manual says, plan on maybe 25% less, to be safe. And carry an extra battery.

I keep my POC plugged in at night, and if all the batteries are low I set an alarm for four hours, and get up and switch them, so they all get charged. Then I go back to sleep.
