vivo beach exursion in san jun

This looks like a new excursion in san Juan, has anyone done this and would they recommend it .

Don't know if you're talking about Carnival's $50 p/p excursion to this beach club but if you are, from what I read at Carnival's site, it might be either too costly or a bargain. From the looks of their web page, they seem to be a private (as in membership required) beach club. A taxi from the pier is about $22 each way for up to five people (per trip, not p/p). I read in the description that you can "Take in the views from the beach bar where you can purchase delicious food or tropical drinks. The beach club has several amenities that you can take advantage of including use of lounge chairs, access to the swimming pools, bars and restaurants." So Carnival doesn't cover food or drinks.

Contact the Beach Club directly and inquire as to the entry and usage fees and add the taxi fare. If they even have kindda "day passes", do the math and see which way suits you better.

Also, the place is fairly new (as in it's got a lot of construction still going on around) so you might want to take that into consideration.
