Questions- WiFi, January weather, and Amazing Race

We will traveling NCL Jewel in January. So excited!! Does anyone know of any bars or restaurants that may provide FREE WIFI in the area? Also, will the water & weather be warm enough to get in in January? I'm worried that it will be chilly. Lastly, I came upon the Amazing Race Cozumel excursion somewhere online, but it is not offered through NCL. Has anyone booked on their own and how did it go? Will we need to get a taxi to the starting point? Thanks for any help you can provide!

The weather will be nice in January, the water about 78 degrees. If you go somewhere with a pool, they generally aren't heated, and I found the pools too chilly to swim in around that time of year.

If a cold front has blown through Texas a day before or so, it is possible the surface temperatures might be chilly (we had a few days in December where I wore a fleece jacket, but most were tank tops and shorts)- but the water will still be warm. "Nortes" do bring choppy water though.
