I will be 44 when I sail on the Epic in April. I'm divorced and looking forward to some "me" time and some time having fun with others. I've read a couple reviews where people of all ages seem to "clique" up for dinner/drinks etc. has this been your experience? While I'm certainly not looking for a love connection, I'm also not sure I'm brave enough to look at dinner alone for 7 nights either.
boilbr Posted February 3, 2013 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2013 I was on the epic last November. The studio arrangement is great. About 15 or so people gathered each evening for dinner. The mix of people varied with ages 20+ to 60+. Very social and made for enjoyable group dinners.

cutecat Posted April 19, 2013 #6 Share Posted April 19, 2013 hey -I was in one of the studios March 2013 , the range in ages is quite broad , there were some around 20yrs perhaps travelling with family but had their own solo cabin , right up to more mature travellers in ther sixties and seventies. There were also people occupying solo ccabins who were actually travelling with a friend and each had own cabin etc. Out of the 128 cabins , the ACTUAL no of people that made the effort to get together was probably about 15-20 , ages ranging from maybe 26yrs - 70yrs - one thing everyone had in common was a good attitude , sociable nature , and desire to make friends and enjoy good company. To be honest we seemed to be having a better time than people with their own folks lol... Enjoy ....you will NOT have to eat alone at all if you dont want to , every evening there will be a group going to dinner together from the solo lounge - it may be a little early but still a good way to socialise.
