cruisinfromohio Posted September 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2006 I checked with cave-tubing.com, and they said that although the minimum age is 5, that they sometimes have younger children and that it is usually okay. My kids are 4 and 5. Has anyone else ever taken children this young?
Marcia621 Posted September 26, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 26, 2006 9/21/06 we had a 5 year old, she was tiny and so cute... she went and had no problems!!! i dont think a 4 year old will have problems either. They have smaller tubes and life vests for the little kids, and with all the guides i dont see any problems.
cruisinfromohio Posted October 11, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted October 11, 2006 Thank you! We leave October 29 on Carnival Valor and are going with a large group. Its comforting to know at least one person out there took a young child!
caribbean dreams Posted October 11, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 11, 2006 When we went cave tubing in Belize it had rained for a few days prior and the river was very high and swift, there were poeple slamming against the rocks because the current was so strong. You may want to check this out ahead of time. X-stream cave tubing has a kids cave tubing tour, it is also 5 and up but i am sure a 4 year old would be fine. Go to their website and it will tell you about it.
