Serenade of the Seas good for kids?

I am thinking of a Bahamas cruise out of New Orleans this winter with my husband and our two kids (age 2 and 4). We initially thought we would do Disney (but it's way to pricey), then we thought Allure or Oasis (but we like this itinerary better). Is the Serenade still ok with little kids? Any experiences?

Serenade does have a kiddie pool area with a slide.
