restaurant at Nyhavn Copenhagen?? help!

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a restaurant in Nyhavn to unite the family before our reunion cruise. They have specifically requested a restaurant in this area. So far- the only option I have is Cap Horn.

Do you have other recommendations for a good local restaurant in Nyhavn???

Thanks!!

Could you please tell me how do I get from Oceankaj (Pier #330-334) - Royal Princess Cruise Ship to the town hall in Copenhagen.

Thank You,

Susan Small

Can someone give us directions how we get from Oceankag Pier to the Town Hall on Sat. June 14/2014 at 9 a.m. Also, how long is the travel time and is it within walking distance.

Thank you,

Susan Small

If you use google maps and type in Rådhuspladsen and Oceankaj you will see that its nowhere in walking distance.

The many HOHO busses will get you to the town hall square in around 20-30 minutes depending on route and stops.

A taxi will probably do it in 10 minutes time at a cost around 200 kroner.

all the restaurants in Nyhaven seem to be similar. I realize that's a huge oversimplification, but just walk down the row and pick one that has good seating available with a menu that you like. I think they all looked good. I ate at Heering and enjoyed my food very much.

What is the cost of the HOHO busses - do you need to purchase a pass and if so where do you buy it? We were planning to go on the Sandemans Copenhagen Tour. Would you recommend it? We will arrive on Sat. June 14

at 5 a.m. and the ship will leave at 6 p.m. Any information would be useful.

Thank you,

Susan Small
