Oceaneer club question regarding age

We're going on The Dream in December. My daughter is 2 but will be turning 3 about a week and a half after the cruise. Will they let us put her in the Oceaneer club? The nursery seems like it wouldn't be fun for her. She's potty trained and has no problem playing with other kids.

The policy has always been that a child who is within 30 days of the next older group (in this case, the OC) is given a "trial" in the older group. If they do OK, they are in the older group for the rest of the cruise.

In the case of an "almost 3," do ok would mean socially and from a toilet standpoint. SO, set her up for success. She MUST use the toilet before you take her to the OC, and then come back for her in 60-90 minutes and escort her to the bathroom if she wants to continue playing. Kids get into what they are doing and "forget." Also, DCL's definition of fully trained is different than most mom's. To Disney, it means that they must be able to handle all clothing, wiping, and hand washing using child sized facilities. Again, consider the clothing carefully. This is not the time for the frilliest princess outfit!

Most 2 + 11 months do fine.
