pinkaboo Posted October 14, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2007 Looking for any info on CAS ABOU. Does anyone know how far CAS ABOU Beach is from where the cruiseship docks and how much would a taxi cost to get there? Do they have bathroom facilities and eateries or restuarants right there at the beach? Do they offer lounge chairs and shade and is there an entry fee? Not much info this beach.. LoveCuracao Posted October 14, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2007 hello, the distance from the habour to the cas abou beach is around 20 kilometers (one way), the price for a taxi is high, around 50 dollar one way! the entrance fee is 5 ANG per person, there are toiletts, showers, lounge shairs, shade, chikki-huts and a "little restaurant" with food and drinks, the prices are low. perhaps it is better to order directly a rental car on the cruiseship, it would be cheaper. greetings mimi
carib_traveler Posted October 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2007 Cas Abou is a beautiful beach (best on Curacao), but for the short time you have on your stop and the amenities at the beach (not much) it's maybe better to go to the number 2 beach Porto Mari: http://www.curacao.com/ActivitiesEvents/Beaches/PlayaPortoMarie.aspx
