I checked your itinerary, and we have done most of the ports of call (see in my signature - Costa Allegra 2009) so it is some time ago - I did a review - but it seems to have disappeared (Costa Allegra). One thing I can remember off the top of my head - was Brunei. The ship wanted to charge (at that time)

37 Euro transfer to town. You can catch a bus outside the port - you need to walk up the street and the bus stop is on the left (usually a bus waiting) they charged us 2 SGD (then) to go into town. 2 SGD back. It was great - we went through some local streets, picked people up (so you get to see how the "locals" live.)

Lots of tourist helpful people around when you get into Bruinei - but you must be back on the bus by 1.30pm - everything closes (don't know why) everything was in walking distance - but you could catch a cab to go to see the Sultans Palace.

You can go on a ferry to visit the houses on stilts in the water. We went in the Sultans Mosque - not expensive. Town is all walkable. hope this little snippet helps. I would post a photo - but I don't know how :o If you prompt me - I reckon I could rattle the old grey matter for more info :p
