Free things to do during the day time on Enchantment?

Recommended Posts

We like to feel busy instead of just tanning by the pool all morning and afternoon, and my family is on a very tight budget. I also heard that the Enchantment does not have the new RCCL updates (flowrider, ice rink, etc), so what are some free things I can do during the day on the Enchantment for 17 year olds (my daughter)? For the carnival cruisers, I was on the Carnival Glory last year, and had a very boring time. What do you think I will feel about this cruise? I have not booked anything by the way.

So are you sailing on the Grandeur, or the Enchantment? I see you've posted the same question about both ships. Also, weren't you the one asking yesterday if you should book now or wait for a last minute deal on an Oasis class ship? Did you decide to book something else instead?

I am still deciding which ship to board, and yes I have come to a decision that I will book this week! thanks for your help on that!

Gotcha! I wasn't sure if you meant to post twice or not. I don't know anything about either of those ships unfortunately, so I can't offer any help there. Booking now is a good idea though, so I hope whatever you guys end up doing will be a lot of fun. If you've changed your mind about the class of ship, I'd choose which one you do based on the itinerary and plan your fun on shore. I don't know if there are shows on the smaller ships but I'm assuming there is at least a casino. From what it sounded like you were looking for yesterday, I don't know that these two ships (Grandeur or Enchantment) are going to sit well with you, because they are smaller and older and have less to do on board, which is why I suggest making your choice based on itinerary and visiting ports with fun things to do. That way you'll be too tired from playing in the sun all day to worry too much about being bored on the ship.
