stewpapa Posted December 28, 2012 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2012 Saved $70 today off of our previously booked at Past Guest rate (not Early Saver) cruise in April 2013 ! Today I got an email about the "Holiday Toast" sale promoting $30 bar credit on 5 day cruises. Checked my cruise price which had also dropped. I called Carnival and they asked a supervisor about the change. They said it was for new bookings only. I told them I would cancel and rebook. They put me on hold again and got with Guest Services and changed it all over to the new lower rate, including the $30 OBC for me without having to cancel or lose my chosen cabin. Even kept the same booking number and it showed up in seconds on the Carnival website. The customer service person was excellent and very helpful with this. Thanks Carnival ! Now, hurry up April! flounder315 Posted December 28, 2012 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2012 Congrats... I haven't found a single price drop for either my March or June cruise. Guess I book at a low rate... :D
lions1995 Posted December 28, 2012 #3 Share Posted December 28, 2012 Congrats... I haven't found a single price drop for either my March or June cruise. Guess I book at a low rate... :D Same here, been watching for lower rates on our June cruise, but none to be found. Much like excursion promo codes. bunchesofun Posted December 28, 2012 #4 Share Posted December 28, 2012 Thanks for the heads up. I called my PVP and although the rates were the same, she changed our res to the Holiday Toast promotion and got the bar credits.
gsu_paintballer Posted December 28, 2012 #5 Share Posted December 28, 2012 I'm on the phone working on this now. Trying to do it without losing my $100 from booking onboard. Seems to be proving a little troublesome so far.
