Taking soft drinks onto the ship in Houston.

Has anyone taken their own soft drinks with them to the ship in Houston. I believe NCL is Pepsi products only. Is that still the case? Also, I believe some ports will allow them as portered baggage some won't. I hope that is the way it is since I don't feel like lugging a case of Diet Coke around while waiting for the rooms to be ready? Thanks
