Carnival-age restr cabins - cabin keys - help

Because of age restrictions I had to reserve a cabin with two 17 year olds and another one with my hubby with our 17 year old. However, in actuality it will be my hubby and me in our cabin and the three 17 year olds in their cabin. Has anyone else had to do this and what did you do about the cabin key/sail card? I can't imagine having to locate and drag my hubby out of the casino every time I want to go to the cabin (I have fibromyalgia and need to rest often):(. I can't switch my cabin key/sail card with my daughter because I will have the drink package on mine (not a good thing for a 17 year old to have access to).
