Divi resorts?

So my wife has her heart set on a land based vacation in Aruba. After looking over the possibilities I've pretty much narrowed it down to the Divi Phoenix or Dutch Village. Any input from someone who's stayed there would be appreciated

The Divi Dutch Village is located behind the Tamarijn Resort, thus not directly oceanfront.

I would read the resort reviews on CC's sister website tripadvisor.com

I usually suggest choosing which beach you would like to stay on and then choose a resort. Do you want to stay somewhere on Palm Beach?

The beach in the area of the Dutch Village, Druif Beach can at times have more waves than the more westerly facing beaches- Palm and Eagle Beaches.
