Freeport and Nassau Active Excursions?

We are headed to Freeport and Nassau next weekend and have checked out the excursions offered through the cruise ship (Carnival) and like the sound of the kayak trip and the deep sea fishing (but I think they were both on the same port), so were hoping to maybe find a non-cruise offered version of those excursions, or maybe even a hike or something a little different than the walking tours or snorkling? Anyone have any suggestions?

Nassau has segway tours. They are fun! I am annoyed that the site encourages you to book with the cruiseship, when it is 25 dollars more than booking directly, though!
