Taxi For Hire For the Day Progreso Et Al

Anyone with experience/specific knowledge hiring a taxi out to Uxmal or even for the day touring around from Progresso instead of AutoProg tour bus? Have ruled out a car rental to take the liability and vehicle failure out of the equation.

If so, what did you spend on taxi for the day or individual trip? Trying to calculate this possible expense and weigh it versus other choices for sightseeing in a limited 7hr time frame and expense. Thx. Mark

Take a private tour and do all the things you want in one tour. The food, the cenote, the ruins.
