Mbett1 Posted May 26, 2016 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2016 We are on the QV on 3/9/16 from Athens to Venice. We are in PG. Can anyone please advise what is the earliest we are likely to be able to board the ship? I think that I have read somewhere that she does not sail until 9pm. Lynnewob Posted May 27, 2016 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2016 (edited) We are on the same trip as you in QG but arriving from LHR so won't board until after the flight arrives into ATH, which will be anywhere between 1 and 2.30pm. We have friends who are staying in Athens for a couple of nights pre-cruise and they plan to arrive at around 12 noon so they can check in and have lunch on board and relax a little before muster drill, which is usually around 4pm ish. As a Grills passenger you do get priority boarding. Enjoy and see you on board - I've set up a roll call for this trip - link attached: http://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2315863 On departure times, I think it is very late as I can't remember sailaway last year - I am not aware of what the latest all aboard time is. PS. I've just checked the port website and it's showing QV's time in port on 3 Sept as 0600-2359. Looks like a late sailing! It'll be busy as there are 3 other ships scheduled to be in too. Mbett1 Posted May 27, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted May 27, 2016 Thank you for your reply. We shall probably head down to the ship for a noon embarkation. Have registered on your roll call. Greatly looking forward to it!
