Anybody else going to St. Thomas

We were scheduled on this trip with friends. We were just notified yesterday that it isn't happening. Windstar sold the trip to a charter.

They offered one of the February versions of the trip + $1,000 but one of us is a teacher and that isn't an option.

We're not impressed.

Since you could not take the Feb sailing, what did they offer relative to reimbursement of air cancellation costs, trip insurance costs etc?

Inquiring minds want to know.

They are refunding full deposit and insurance costs. We were on cruise line air so no costs were incurred with respect to flights.
