Got off the Royal Princess on Oct. 26. We are platinum and decided that 150 free minutes would be enough as we are retired. Medallion net had very bad connectivity. Medallion worked to open the door and show me my statement(some days). Couldn't log on until the fifth day of the cruise. Tried to order drinks and food and got a message saying the area I was in was not covered by the app. We were on Lido deck by the pool fifty feet from Seaview bar. I had issues with other things on this cruise but the internet minutes not being available are more pertinent to this discussion.

So what is the difference between grits and polenta on a menu? Oh....about twenty bucks.

I've been in a suite twice and both times have opted for a complimentary specialty dinner on a night other than the embarkation day. They never questioned the change to another night.

Sous Vide cooking technique does not usually involve boiling. You can bring a product to a certain temperature and hold it. Cook your steak to 110 and when ready to serve give it some grill marks on the broiler if desired. This can be done with any protein or vegetable. 

These pics are of a  mini-suite on Ocean princess. They are roomy and we didn't hear any excess noise. Really enjoyed this one!

Happy Birthday Norris! I'm loving your review as usual. On a different topic, I noticed in your photos of the buffet that the Azamara crew does not use sneeze guards anywhere. Was this the normal on the cruise?

I finally found your latest review! Better late than never. So far this review is as excellent as your previous ones. You really have a talent Norris. It's time to have an espresso and a Sambuca as soon as you can join me.

Zylast is really an excellent product that can really help against norovirus. Purell not so much. I take it with me whenever and wherever I travel. However, washing your hands with soap and water is still a must.

That would be Hollandaise sauce.

 I liked this simple dish most mornings.

I've booked EZ air for both pre cruise days and post cruise days and never had any problems. Just make sure the dates are correct.

You can buy 375 ml bottles from room service. A little pricey but you can pour your own poison!

I asked for a Riedel glass on the Royal on a Mediterranean cruise. It was in the MDR and the waiter went to his station and supplied me with one. Never had to ask for the rest of the cruise. This was in October 2017.

I was on the Ruby this last April 26 to Cabo and received a blue bag.

Was on the Ruby in a full suite this April. It was great to walk in and be sat immediately but when asked about the nights "special" the answer was always extra shrimp. Flambeed, sauteed, or in a sauce.

Norris, what is your preferred breakfast venue, Blu or Sabatini's/Crown grill for suite guests?

I'm really looking forward to this review. Great to have you back on the boards. I think I'll get an espresso....make it a double!

Do you have any idea what this entails? Is it just the Ultimate Breakfast package.

Another Norris Review?! Thank goodness, I have been saved from mediocrity on the Cruise Critic boards! Got my espresso and Sambuca but can't find the damn coffee beans. Oh well I'll just enjoy the ride.

I really enjoy a good bottle or two of wine but then again I'm just a common sewer.
