Had lunch in WJ. Was a ashore around 130pm, spent a little over an hour walking around trying to avoid vendors and am back on board. Cabo San Lucas is a bustling tourist resort. And it's hot.

Linda, am hoping you see our questions. How do they assign tender groups? We arrive in Cabo San Lucas at 11:00 and want to book a sailing tour at 1:15. Do you know how to book an early tender? Thank you, Betsy

  2. Just got back from a day at Blue Kay.

We walked right into the beach area and sat right down in some loungers(with a mat) under the shade like we knew what we were doing.

Pepe, the waiter, came over and welcomed us and paused for a minute to think and then said, "just pay for your drinks and food through me" and then walked away.

We each had one drink at $8 each.

Got there about 10AM, was maybe 30% full, by noon every lounger was taken.

    We had a great day.

  3. I can understand people being "concerned/upset" by the seemingly random pricing policies at Blue Kay but....

geez folks its a day at a beautiful beach that you don't own or pay taxes to use so don't begrudge them the prices you pay. I'd wager your daily bar bill onboard is more than the cost to lay on their beach and use their loungers.

    Don't worry, be happy!

  4. We will be going here late Feb.

Do we need to make a reservation to use the beach or just grab a taxi and show up?

Mitsugirly, you mentioned somewhere about Blue Kay renting lounger space to another club that occupied the shoreline? Can you elaborate on that, pictures?

  5. We are looking to spend one day visiting Cinque Terre from Genoa.

I've read everything I can here and tried to understand the various train schedules.

I can figure out how to get from Genoa to Monterosso.

I read where the trains run every few minutes between the little towns, how correct is this? We would want to start in Monterosso and then make our way South till it is time to take a train back North to Genova.

Guess I'm looking for a more clear understanding on what "trains run every few minutes means".

    HELP! :)
