Barbara, I was in the aft cabin on level 12 waiting for the water to come down on my deck on reviews read before I left. I do believe this was an issue and that is why they do no fill to top. But I did wake every day to a wet deck, kind of think everyone did. In the middle of the night they wash the decks and thats how I ended up with a lot of water on deck in morning including rice someone must have spilled(being washed off top deck). But I have to say this aft cabin was a dream come true, just a little noisy during docking.

Sorry, missed part about being in YC. But I did make friends in YC and he said that it was a long walk back to YC when were in some of the bars. So that book is a great idea. See what others are saying about pricing. It seem difficult to tell. All bars had daily drink specials around 6.75 instead of 7.75. or 10% off specials. But definitely buy a book so you don't have to take the long walk to YC.

If you enjoy your cocktails the top package 62.00 a day. Ok I know thats a lot of money. But...it really paid for itself. Mini bar items, restocked everyday on my request(nuts, chips, juice, water, soda and liquor vod/gin/scot no rum avail., Pastry from pastry shop including chocolate candies(75 cents) to cakes at 2.75 plus, coffee drinks in the pastry shop. Juices made in the spa I think about 3-4.00 each fruit and veggie type. French Champagne 12.75. After dinner chocolate martini's and premium scotch. Top shelf liquor Grey goose Kettle One. And finally Gelato can't remember how much that was. But its not just about liquor.

Just went back to MSC website, the 24 hour package says that the items I mentioned above are included on Divinia 2013 so maybe the other ships don't include that. But when it says room service I am assuming that is for beverage items only. If I am reading reviews correct there are charges for some room service food items, anyone paying food items?

When I bought this package my print out says the mini bar and mineral water in my cabin is included. The next sentence says as well as all items from the Gelateria, Pastry shop and food from the Room service menu. I will bring my print out with me from the time of purchase. Anyone else have the same experience, no mini bar? But thanks for the info.

Hey fellow cruisers...We have two really great events on our cruise. On Dec 12/13 both nights is the Geminides Meteor shower. Unfortunately it will be less visible because of the Full moon which is Dec 17. We are at sea the 12/13/17 so go out and enjoy the view and just maybe we will get to see a meteor or 2. Or get up really early...4am...or so and when the moon sets maybe you will see some meteors...

Great to hear the early reviews! I am now more excited about my trip. I think you have to pay extra to use the spa, going forward I wonder if that will be worth it. What are the amenities? Thanks for any info you all give after your first cruise. Mine is Dec 10,2013

I am traveling with my Family, My brother, wife and daughter and her son 2 yr old. Dec 10,2013, I am single. So I think this ship is just about to go out for it's first time in the USA. I await your input on how you liked it and how we can enjoy MSC with your advise. It sounds beautiful and we look forward to a new cruise line in the USA!

Thanks everyone for the pics of outside decks. I am going on the Dec 10 2013 Divinia and got an aft room. But I am now prepared for a smaller outside deck and again appreciate the pictures so I am not disappointed in my room.

I heard about this cruise, how was it and did they perform? How do they sound? Your cabin looks fun. I did an aft facing cabin in Dec on deck 12 and loved every minute of it.
