  1. We are leaving this Sunday from Nebraska and flying into FLL for a cruise leaving Monday from the Port of Miami. We are coming in a day early and I thought about using the Tri-Rail instead of before and after cruse transfers. With hotel and the transfers it's well over $300. Tri-rail would save us some money but the catch is, we have our kids with us, one of which is a 1-1/2 year old. They would love the idea of taking a train and we pack light so that's not an issue. I'm just wondering about using the shuttle busses. I know we can hop on them to get to and from the airports, but what about getting to a hotel once we arrive at the Hialeah Market Tri-Rail Station? Are there shuttles, busses....etc that could drop us off. We aren't going to be bringing a car seat so I assume a taxi is out of the question. We'll be staying at one of the hotels right by the airport.

  2. Anyone been on this excursion in Cozumel? Looking for kind of an inexpensive snorkeling trip for my girls while in port on the Ecstacy Jan 15. Trying to decide on this or to just go it alone and head to the money bar for a couple hours. I think it said this excursion is at the Villa Blanca Reef which would be North of the Pier?

  4. We have kids (14, 13, 11 and 18 mo) traveling with us on our cruise next week. We are in Cozumel Jan 15th. We'd like to snorkel and have somewhat of some beach time without having to split up. Thought about El Cid which is within walking distance. It's always a crapshoot, but does this place get too busy with a few ships in port? We can always hop a taxi to The money bar, playa mia etc. but would like to avoid doing that because of the little one.

  6. We will be in Cozumel the week of January 13th for a stop, cruising on the Carnival Ecstacy. We'll have our 4 kids (14, 13, 11 and 18mon). Not sure I want to commit to a taxi and a beach club because of the little one, so El Cid seems like a good option for some "beach" time and snorkeling for the kids. Hopefully it's not too overrun with all of us cruise ship folk!
