We went to Roatan, Belize and Cozumel
-
Good. We had a nice cruise overall.
I can try to answer any specific questions you have.
-
We were on the March 1 sailing and they were the following:
Welcome Aboard Show
Get Ready (Motown show)
Juggler
Dancing in the Streets
Newlywed / Not so Newlywed Game
8 More Seconds (Country show)
Carnival Legends
Side note: I may have the order mixed up.

We just got off the Dream on Sunday and they were there.
-
We are just off the Dream and it didn't have the new internet options or dining menus yet.
-
We just got back from staying in 2369. The noise from above was minimal and what we did hear wasn't very loud. The laundry we couldn't hear at all but it was a few doors further down from us. We could hear the tv through the connecting door of our cabin and 2371. We were happy with the cabin location and didn't feel noise was an issue. If you have any specific questions let me know.
-
I haven't but we are staying in 2369 on the 1st of March. I can let you know how it is when we get back.

You need to bring your own. Or they have ones you can purchase.

I was on this cruise also. I'm the one taking a picture of the towel animal invasion, in your towel animal invasion photo.

I know about the daily limit of people. However, with a big group going together that takes up almost half that limit, I was worried about it being not necessarily too crowded just too "party-like" with a big group of people all together.
I just needed reassurance. Thanks.

Quick question: My husband and I booked Nachi because we wanted a relatively quiet, relaxing beach day for our wedding anniversary.
Someone on our roll call said they are going with a group of about 40 people to Nachi. I hope this doesn't sound rude, but do we have to worry about it becoming too loud or "party-like" knowing there will be a big group of people together or is there enough room to spread out/not be right on top of a big group?

If you find anything out, let me know. I'm just curious as we were highly disappointed that our excursion was cancelled.
We still haven't decided what to do instead, but I'm sure we will enjoy our day no matter what we decide.
-
FYI: We had a tour booked with them for September and they cancelled in April.
I'm not sure they are still operational.
Edited to add: There have been no new trip advisor reviews since April (one in June but they visited in November) and their FB page has had no updates since April.

Thanks. I forgot to mention I had already contacted them. They didn't specifically say they used Sandblasters, but said the tour was unavailable on my requested date (so I assume that means they used Sandblasters).
-
We had the Sandblasters dune buggy tour booked for our cruise in September. They emailed me last week and cancelled (they did refund the deposit).
Does anyone have an alternative suggestion for something similiar? My husband and I were really looking forward to this tour.

Thanks so much for the longer review of the tour.
-
I'll ask for the longer review of the Land Rover and Cave Expedition in Belize. My husband and I are looking at this for our trip in September and can't find a ton of recent information. Any insight would be extremely helpful. Thanks!
-
Thanks for the review. I look forward to reading about the rest of your trip.
-
We are booked in 2256 in September. Glad to see it has gotten good reviews.
-
Enjoy your trip.
Thanks for posting this, I look forward to your review when you get back (we still have 200+ days to go).
-
Thanks! I'm thinking about booking the tour as a surprise for my husband when we get on the ship.
-
How much was the Behind the Fun tour? What did you see? What day was it? Was it worth the money?

My two cents on the current discussion: And I'm not a medical professional nor am I a dietician so its just my opinion.
I see nothing wrong with eating processed foods such as Lean Cuisine meals, fast food, regular yogurt, bread, etc. Its what my diet consists of. I know that they are higher in sodium and overall may not be the healthiest choicest but they are the most realistic. I'm not trying to make excuses but I do work 3 jobs; 2 of which take me to fast food restaurants multiple times a week for dinner. I don't always have time to prepare fresh food items ahead of time. I don't always have the money to buy fresh groceries. It can be a lot cheaper eating dinner at a fast food restaurant (and yes you can find healthier choices at fast food). I prioritize making it to the gym 2-3 times a week. I have to work within the constraints I have time wise and eat food that is available. I just work to make healthier choices (lower in calories, higher in protein).
The methods that work for some people are not the methods that work for other people. I am someone who is trying to be healthier and lose weight and has successfully lost 25 lbs so far. For me I have to find the diet that is most sustainable.

Just checking in:
I've been sick with a stomach virus but am feeling better (for the most part), so today is my first day back at tracking food.
The only thing is I'm still hesitant about eating much so I really don't have much to track.
Monday is normally a Zumba night, but since I'm not quite back to 100%, and not quite back to eating normal meals I won't be attending class tonight.
Dream
in Carnival Cruise Lines

We took a cruise in September on the Dream that went to the same ports also.
Both trips elegant night was on Monday and Friday. I'm unsure about the Chef's Table as we didn't do it.
For Belize: We have had terrible luck. The first trip we tried to go to Xunantunich but we couldn't get there (river was too high) so we ended up at Cahal Pech instead. The problem was we weren't told this until we were on the bus for two hours so the entire thing was just disappointing. This cruise for Belize we tried to book the Land Rover and Cave Expedition tour. However, we found out it had been cancelled the first night of our cruise. So instead we just took the tender to shore, went shopping and ate lunch. Also there were high winds that day so they had trouble with the tenders and it was later in the day before we were ever able to go ashore.
For Roatan: We loved Roatan. Both trips we booked a private tour with Victor Bodden tours, with the same tour guide Laura, who we loved. The first trip we went ziplining at Victor Bodden's, visited the monkeys, and took an island tour. This trip we went Parasailing at West Bay Beach, visited the monkeys, took an island tour (saw some different areas), and made a side stop at a pharmacy (my husband wasn't feeling the greatest). Both trips she took great care of us, giving us information about the island and being accessible at stops without being right on top of us.
And Cozumel we went to Nachi Cocom both trips (and rented a jet ski). We enjoyed an overall relaxing day both times.
