Like you(OP) I have always enjoyed Carnival. The first cruise we took we ran into a Hurricane, and lost ports, BUT had a great time. It is what YOU make of it!!. Missed ports on another cruise as well, but always a good time. I would love to cruise all the lines to be honest, but really want to check out what Princess has to offer!!

Love Princess as an alternative to Carnival- biggest issue is we have to

travel quite a ways to get to their ports.

Hi,

Will be traveling with family of all ages (5 - 83). My mom is somewhat mobile but will need to bring her Rollator (rolling walker with seat) when we get into port in Ocho Rios (Carnival Breeze). We wanted to take the kids (and adults) to the beach and pools at Margaritaville, (I know we have to purchase appetizers and or drinks). Is the area and restaurant wheelchair/ rollator accessible for my mom?

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated as we are trying to plan out our excursions on a very limited budget.

So excited to sail on the Breeze in June. Two questions:

1. Did you use the onboard Hub wifi to txt with one another? If so how did it work?

 

2. I have read the aft pool is not adults only as on other CC ships. Is this pool very crowded? Do most people use the one mid ship?

I would also like any information you have on the onboard HUB wifi to txt.

The Jeep tour was awesome! We had Frank as our guide; he was so nice and courteous. He let us go at our pace and treated us to a spectacular lunch with a beach view that was incredible. We loved it and was worth every penny and more. If you book it, tell Frank that Dennis and Penni from Atlanta said "hi".

Hi all - I know people here have done things on Grand Caymen on their own. We're planning on doing the turtle farm - buying tix on our own (we sail in 2 weeks).

Which type of cars/buses should i look out for if we are taking our own transportation and not the one provided by the farm...

Hi - We will be in Grand Cayman in about 2 weeks too, (Carnival Freedom) and I on the "TURTLE FARM" website, there is a section on Transportation. It advises to take the "YELLOW" bus from the bus depot in Georgetown. That is what we are planning on doing.

heard back from the owner of Cozumel Cruise Excursions for the Private Jeep Tour right after I posted this the other day. Everything is in great detail and so professional. This tour gets rave reviews. Looking forward to it - only 40 more days :)
