  1. Pamangela - Where did you book your hotel stay at the Sportsmens Lodge? (You mentioned earlier that you got a better price on it than the Best Western Sunset Blvd was offering.)

Also, did you book your Redline Hollywood Tour online at their website?

Also looking forward to your pictures and reviews.

After reading all of these posts and trying to figure out what we want to do in our day and a half post cruise, I see that most tours are not on the weekends. I thought a great overview of the area, seeing the highlights on a tour might be just what we want. Do you have a suggestion for a tour offered on Saturday afternoon or Sunday? That would be our first choice, I believe.

Second choice would probably be Disneyland. I know they will be open on weekends!

Really, this is a last minute trip. I usually do a lot of research before a trip, but this one is coming up too fast for that! So, I appreciate all your help.

Pre-cruise we will be in Long Beach at the Westin. (Priceline - $65)

  3. Pamangela - Could you share the site for the taping? My sister and I are going on the NCL Star November 7th, but flying in the morning of the 6th (Friday). If they would have something available for us to see it would be great.

Thanks to all of you for educating me on LA and what to do, where to stay, where to eat! I've enjoyed reading this thread and making plans.

  4. Got the InterContinental on Hotwire for our pre-cruise stay. There are 4 of us, 2 Adults, 2 Teens, so I opted for Hotwire over Priceline. It was offered at $123. Final price was $155.04.

We saw this hotel last year when walking to the restaurant, Metropol, from the Embassy Suites. We thought the grounds looked great! So happy to be able to stay there.
