  1. We are doing Whale excursion in Juneau . Need to find out if there is anything like a scenic bus drive to the national Forrest or if there are any other smaller tours for walking challenged people. We want to see the area but no zip line,no long walks, or no airplane helicopter please. Just a relaxing couple hour excursion THANKS!

  2. I am new to Norweigen  and have a couple of general questions. Do you get a specific time to board ? Will be going out of Seattle in September 2020. How do you get the time? Can you order bottles of liquor for your cabin? If so How? Thanks in advance

  3. Need all information I can on Alaskan cruises. Never been on Norwegian. Have been on Carnival 2 times. We are 4 couples that would like all balcony's together. Best time to buy ? Best time to go? Best port to go out of? Any tricks in booking would be greatly appreciated. We would like to book in a couple of months or when ever the new schedule make good cabins available. Thanks in advance.

  4. Did I read somewhere where you have to request ice bucket now? Could the bucket you get beers in be used for ice bucket? We have a small cooler for insulin. We used gallon ziplocks last time to put in cooler. It still was wet so we put in shower. Was thinking we could put ice bucket in cooler., then put ice in bucket .Cooler is a round 11x 11 collapsible one. Would this work?

  5. Sorry but do not need airline tickets just great service to send assignments to professors. We actually are driving. Can some one explain the single day offering and how much and can you buy ahead of time? I am also looking into the islands we are stopping at to see if we can send from there. Some one suggested Hotels. We would be probably interested in Aruba, Bonaire and especially Grand Turk as it is our last island day . Any and all info is greatly appreciated. THANKS!

  6. Ok looks like daughter has some college class work due during a cruise in March. Since there are 4 sea days was hoping she could finish and send off the ship.We are going to Aruba, Bonaire and Grand Turk do not know if that makes any difference. Any suggestions. Internet package? Better to send off one of the Islands? Any help appreciated!

  7. Agree Both Amber Cove and Grand Turks were low budget days. Amber Cove just a pool / Shopping/ cruise port area unless you get a excursion or take a taxi some where. We stayed at pool and it is close enough you can go back on board for lunch or munchies then back out again. Some in our party about 4 weeks after it opened did a excursion and it was 45 minutes 1 way thru 3 rd world country conditions. Hopefully it is better now. Grand Turks free beach area and also free pool area at Margaritaville. First time we beached it at Grand Turks and walked down to Jacks Shack. This time we are renting a golf cart and touring and snorkeling our way around the island. It is about 90.00 a day for cart but have freedom of stopping at different beaches and areas of interest to us. You also are close enough to ship to go back for munchies or lunch if you are frugal (cheap) like me.Enjoy your cruise!

  8. Al tho expensive you can opt to buy a bottle or 2 for your room. Bring tervis cup and carry on sodas or buy water and get individual drink powder as your mix or get a powdered drink mix else where. A couple of bottles would run you under 250. and then you could order a couple of specialty drinks and come out much cheaper. This would run you well under 1/2 price of Cheers but you could still drink. Personally with that many ports and the hours I could not make the drinks package worth it for me . But then again if you could drink at least 7 drinks on board it would even out. Good Luck on your decision and Have a GREAT CRUISE!

  9. New Years eve day we were in San Juan PR . We had Formal night that night .Hats and noisemakers on table. There is a balloon drop from Atrium fill out your NY wish and put inside balloon they drop at midnight in Atrium. We opted for the party outside The whole deck was rock in with JAMIE . Big screen showed other countries celebrating NYE on big screen. Champagne was offered at sail away and NYE both no charge. Horn blasted at midnight. It was awesome Would definitely do again.Party was moved to liquid lounge about 1 .We had Grand Turks next day so made for our cabin after munchies at buffet. This was in 2015 for 2016. Christmas decorations were still up on the ship and in Ports. They started really taking all Christmas down January 1 st. I am from Missouri so to see Christmas with tropical climate was really different for us. Get off the boat that week and walk/tour ports and cities for decorations. Hope this helps. Enjoy, we did.
