I would Pacific Princess to be changed less than most ships due to no anytime.  Similarly the changes on the Diamond changed less than what is being shows for most cruises.  The Diamond tends to be traditional only on its Asian cruises.

You would think so, but 6pm has become 5pm, on our booking.

If you mean the roll call for Pacific Princess December 22,  I just pulled up your posting history and there it was:

Thanks I finally found it. Not too thrilled with the new format!

  3. What I did a couple of years ago was have a case delivered to our hotel the day before. I then taped luggage tags on all sides and had it checked with our luggage upon boarding.

I was called to security as I had expected, paid the corkage fee and they then delivered it to my cabin.

It was obvious that I was not trying to smuggle anything.

  4. Hey all,

I had a question about the golfing situation on the Pacific Princess. Anyone who has been on it; are there any golf clubs onboard that are available for use? I'm looking specifically for putters. Also, is there a place for putting on that ship? I know it's one of the smaller ones, so I'm just trying to get a feel for what's around.

There is a cage with 2 or 3 Irons you can use to hit balls, but no putting course like the bigger ships.

  5. I don't think diet, but they have cans of rootbeer.

Does the crown have diet Rootbeer?

  6. I am on a couple at the moment, both on the Pacific Princess. One is the 50th Anniversary cruise which is 5 months out and has over 4000 posts and the other is in 2 months and only has 21. 183 people on one roll call and 7on the other.

  7. Anything you buy through Gift Services will not show on your personalizer. It will show on your account when you board, just take the e-mailed receipt with you just in case.

As for paying in Canadian when you phone ask them to quote you in Canadian funds and that you want it charged to your credit card in Canadian not US. They will tell you exactly how much Canadian they are charging and that is what will be charged to your Credit card. It defiantly works!

  8. No, I had booked before that offer, I had a total of $100 OBC with no free gratuities and I was going to phone today and rebook with the free gratuities and only $50 OBC, but this worked out even better.

  9. I can fly into either airport, I know Hobby is closer, however Princess does not have a hotel and transfer deal other than out of Bush. I think if I fly into Bush it would probably work best through Princess as it is $195 including transfer to the ship at the Marriot. Flying into Hobby we would be on our own for the hotel and getting to the ship. So I am just figuring out which way to go.

  10. My wife and. I are planning to take the Emerald out of Houston in January and since we have never gone through this port I have a few questions.

We are flying in to Houston the day before. What is a good place to stay? Should we arrange our own transport or go with Princess? I understand the actual Port is a fair distance from the Airport.

    Any advise would be appreciated!

  11. No easy way, search for the cruise on Princess.com and go through the steps to book a cabin on line, they will show you what cabins are available in each category and deck. You just have to have too much time on your hands and be curious.

  12. We are going on the Star, May 4 the for a 5 day cruise from LA to Vancouver. Just checked to see how full it is and found, 144 inside, 140 outside, 183 balcony , 74 mini suites and 15 full suites still open. That is 556 cabins still available with 12 days to go. I don't think it is going to sail full!!
