1. Was on the same cruise. You were lucky, Parents, wife and I ate at chops on the first night, and had a total noob for a waiter. very slow, didn't come around to refill drinks, no help for presentation so placing plates one at a time. We had to demand the four sauces be brought out to add to our stakes.

Food was wonderful as always, but the service was lacking. Rest of the cruise was very good.

Though kinda sad to hear all the changes that are going to take place to it over the trip to China. :(

2. We are booked to eat and Wonderland and wonder if anyone can help with a question. We are looking at buying the premium drinks package which gives wine up to 12 dollars a glass.

Do they do wine by the glass in this restaurant (or any of the other specialist ones if you happen to know)

Thanks for any help.

All of them had a by the glass option.

As for my review, yes it was very interesting. Appitizers were very odd. Me and my DW were questioning if we were going to be getting a pizza at Sorrento's after, but we toughed it out, also helped by my parents eating most of the food offered at that time.

But the main OMG  :D The pork, chicken, and beef were amazing, though left the fish for my parents. And the desserts, we got one of each and shared, though DW took most of the Molten Lava Cake. I loved the cheesecake with apple... candy sticks. If you are going on Anthem and like trying strange food go for it.

I say Anthem only cause I will not be surprised that when Quantum gets to China they remove Wonderland and replace with a pile of 50 slot machines or Whale table game room. Cause they said there were going to be some changes when they get to China including some "rearranging" of some of the restaurants.

3. Heading off on Quantum in a week wife DW and my Veteran cruising parents. And I haven't seen many reviews / comments about Wonderland.

This dinning location both scars me and intrigues me. I see the :list o elements" on the Royal website about Wonderland, but I don't see a real description o how it works?

So how does a dinner at Wonderland work?

4. Not sure if anyone said this but, I like the old ones, cause I could reuse them on future cruises, the first one I got on my first cruise in 2010, I used on my 2011 and 2012 cruise. But the one I had to get on Freedom this year was only good on that cruise. So I just left it in my stateroom. But brought my old cup back home with me. Guess I'll have to see if Enchantment is getting "upgraded" with the freestyle machines.

I thought RC was all for recycling.

5.
I'm wondering the same thing. Specifically about the dining. I'm thinking that could even be why we really haven't heard much about dining yet. If there is to be a specific celebrity chef advisor, then perhaps we will even see a restaurant from that particular chef. Hmmm, let's see, what celebrity chefs have restaurants out there? Emeril Lagasse, Bobby Flay, Rachel Ray, Guy Fieri, Giada (whatever her last name is), Mario Bartali, Paula Deen...

I doubt it would be Guy, because he already has ties to other lines. A real kick in the pants would be if it was Paula Deen. I know she has 2 fan cruises booked with RCCL on the Mariner for 2014, but after she got in hot water back in the early summer, RCCL publicly stated that they have never had any official association or contract with her. That would turn out to be a awkward pickle :p. Personally, I would love to see Bobby Flay or Mario. My DH would be in his glory if it were Rachel Ray. Time will tell!
You know who it probably wouldn't be, Gorden Ramsey. I don't think RCCL want an angry guy coming out and yelling at people. (With a film crew standing near by ;))
6.
Happy Labor Day everyone! Was a little bored today and counted the More To Come areas on the deck plans - I ended up with 20.

What do we know that's not on the deck plans already? For example, I believe ones on the aft end of Decks 3 and 4 will be the Main Dining Room, and I think we know that one will be the Schooner Bar. What else can we think of based on what we know so far?

Here's the list:
Deck - Area
15 - Opposite the Rock Climbing Wall
14 - In Solarium
14 - To the right of H2O Zone
14 - Aft Starboard
14 - Aft
5 - Six at the forward of the ship
5 - Three at the aft
4 - Four in the middle
4 - Aft
3 - Aft
I'm going to guess 14 aft is Windjammer and the other buffet style food they are adding to it in other ships.

14 Starboard, maybe one of, or more, of the chops and other special dinning places. Similar to how they have chops and Portafino's in Windjammer on the Freedom class ships.
7. Recently joined CC, so I'm not going to plow through 40 some odd pages of this thread, so if anyone has said this, I'm sorry.

But one thing I am hoping for on Quantum is the gyroscoping pool tables like the ones on the radiance class. I think they are fun to play.

I am liking what I'm seeing for this ship. Two70 is looking like an interesting place to hang out and watch and afternoon pass by.
