  1. Looking to book Sun-Splashed Holiday cruise aboard Riviera departing on December 22nd, 2017 for 12 nights. The past 5 Holidays have been spent aboard Celebrity. It's our first time on Oceania and looking to book Veranda or higher stateroom. There is an incredible amount of staterooms remaining after reviewing inventory. Normally for a holiday cruise there would be a little more interest? Any particular reason, am I missing something? Any incentive to book now? Given that prices are inflated and Oceania will need to fill these cabins when can a price drop be expected? Opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

  2. Regular price for Premium Non-Alcoholic Beverage Package:

    Cost Per Day: $22.00 + 18 % Gratuity = $25.96

    14 Night Cruise * $25.96 = $363.44

    $363.44 * 2 Guests = $726.88 USD

Pre-Booking price for Premium Non-Alcoholic Beverage Package through Cruise Planner:

    Cost Per Day: $19.80 + 18 % Gratuity = $23.36

    14 Night Cruise * $23.36 = $327.04

    $327.04 * 2 Guests = $654.08 USD

    $726.88 - $654.08 = $72.80 Discount For Pre-Booking

Before I discovered this I had called Celebrity numerous times to verify pricing and they told me it would be the same to pre-book it or to add it onboard. Now I check and it is actually cheaper? Can anyone explain this? Thanks.

  3. Who said anything about not tipping? I simply asked when the deadline is for removing auto gratuities as I always tip in cash anyways and I"m not interested in waiting at guest services when we board as their is usually quite a long line. I thought it would be easier to do it later in the week. Some individuals on this forum need to calm down, who do think you are making assumptions of others and how they choose to go about tipping. These forums are becoming more and more unpleasant to visit as time goes by.

  4. I've never cruised Azamara before but have been monitoring the 11 NIGHT WEST INDIES HIDEAWAY VOYAGE departing Miami on January 4th, 2017. After looking at cabin availability I see that all categories are pretty much still available and plenty of cabins to be had. I would have thought by now it should be closer to being sold out. If I'm not too particular on cabin selection, what's the real incentive to go ahead book now instead of waiting it out? I've been screwed too many times by booking early on Celebrity and later to see prices get dropped up to 50% just to fill a cabin. Does Azamara play by a different set of rules? Any input would be appreciated.

  5. We are a couple in our early to mid thirties and considering booking the Quest for an 11 night west indies hideaway voyage departing Miami on January 4th, 2017. We are fairly well traveled and like the idea of a smaller ship. Have been on the Equinox, Eclipse, Adventure, Jewel and several others. What can we expect as far as the demographics of individuals on board? Do you get younger couples in their 30's? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

  6. I agree. I sailed on the Equinox on December 21st, 2015 for the Christmas and New Years cruise. We were in Aqua Class as well and all we got was an overpriced vacation. The entertainment was garbage. The food was mediocre and all the staff could care about is telling you sob stories about the life they live back home hoping to squeeze you for greater tips at the end. I have to laugh though at all the people on this forum who think being elite is such a big deal and how Celebrity owes them something. Folks, Celebrity cruises doesn't care about you all they want is your money.
