You don't have to see every show, game or planned event. You don't even have to take shore excursions. You are on vacation but you don't have to do it all. [emoji4]

I think it's all in what type of personality you have. I bring a lanyard for my cruise card as I wear one at work and am used to it. I bring a highlighter because I want to highlight the things I really want to see/do. I also bring a small "med" box of OTC mess. The nurse in me grinds meds everywhere. And as I get slightly sea sick, I bring my sea sickness patches. I brought an over the door hanger first time but only 2 in cabin so didn't need it we had plenty of room. I also over packed & brought hangers but the room steward brought extra no problem. We used post it notes for him in the room but I think we would've been just fine without. I also tried the clip at the bottom of the shower curtain, complete fail for me.

Just go to relax & have fun! If you need certain things to let you relax & you have room in your luggage, bring it! If you run out of room, store it in your suitcase under the bed. That's where I put all my dirty clothes. & by the way, not all ships have washers & dryers for public use...

I have read several places where people use binder clips (extra large capacity style paper clips?) but I can't for the life of me figure out why? Our shower & curtain were rounded on the outer edges & I did have trouble keeping the curtain inside per se, I just put dirty towels on the outside to catch the extra water. How would I have used the clips???? There was only 1 curtain so no clipping together & I don't think clipping to the side of the stall would've worked.

Passports are recommended, but not required. If you don't have a passport and choose not to apply and get one, then you'll need to have a certified copy of your birth certificate.

I would suggest checking with the cruise line. I am traveling in 2 weeks and I didn't have time to get a passport but they said I needed my original birth certificate but online it said I could use a certified copy so I would suggest checking with them.

I am very attached to my phone, however on previous cruises I have always turned them off and put them in the safe. You do so much more when your not staring at your phone lol. The only reason we would keep it on this trip more often than not is to check in on our daughter and our high anxiety puppy that we are leaving at home. Lol

don't you have to pay international roaming fees? my carrier has a listing of $90 for the 5 days. that's my whole months worth of charges... so I decided to keep it turned off. I have an ill mom at home though & would have liked to have it nearby for her for emergencies....
